    Jonathan Rice, the son of Henry and Elizabeth (Moore) Rice. He was born on 3 July 1654 in Sudbury, Massachusetts. On 23 March 1674/75 Jonathan, at age 20, married (1) Martha Eames, in Sudbury, Massachusetts. The marriage has been erroneously recorded as 23 March 1675/76. On 1 November 1677 Jonathan, at age 23, married (2) Rebecca Watson, in Sudbury, Massachusetts. He was a tavern owner in East Sudbury, and later in Framingham. He moved about 1707 to Framingham, Massachusetts. He served between 1708 and 1717 in Framingham, Massachusetts, as a Selectman. He served in 1711 as the Representative to the Massachusetts General Court from Framingham. He served again in 1720. He left a will on 15 March 1724/25 in Framingham, Massachusetts. He died on Thursday 12 April 1725 in Framingham, Massachusetts. Jonathan's will was proved on 21 May 1725 in Framingham, Massachusetts.
