  Captain Jonathan Adams, the son of Ensign Edward and Lydia (Rockwood) Adams. He was born on 4 April 1655 in Medfield, Massachusetts. [This marriage] He was one of the first settlers of Medway, and the first Deacon of the Medway Church. After Mary's deatah, on 12 December 1717 Jonathan, at age 62, married second, Mehitabel Plimpton,, daughter of John and Jane (Damon) Plimpton, in Medway, Massachusetts.
