He directed that his heir would have use of his great velvet bed during his life, and four silver basins, with two ewers whereupon his arms were engraved. Six silver dishes, two silver pots, and four charges as well all marked with his arms. His executors were Walter Skyelaw, Bishop of Durham; Richard Scrope, Bishop of Chester; and Sir Richard Scrope. The will was proved 13 January 1390/91.
