History: Her obituary read, "Mrs. Mary M. Rogers, widow of Andrew Rogers, died today at the home of her son, George R., thirteen Royce avenue. Mrs. Rogers was born in Spring Glen, June twenty-third, 1863, a daughter of William and Mariah Schoonmaker Travis. A former resident of Phillipsport, she was a member of the Methodist Church there. Surviving are her son, six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
