He evidently abandoned his Narragansett rights, as the lots drawn in his name in Greenwich were sold for taxes, Sept. 5, 1750.

Ebenezer married Susanna Leonard on 22 Mar 1714 in Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Susanna (daughter of Jacob Leonard and Susanna King) was born on 24 Dec 1683 in Weymouth, Norfolk County, Massachusetts; died on 19 Nov 1764 in Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. • History: Apr 1777; Israel Hill published the following: "Whereas Beriah, the wife of me the subscriber, has wickedly and notoriously kept company and cohabited with one Joseph Latham, and has sold many articles of her wearing apparel &c. and has threatened to destroy all my interests: These are therefore to forbid all persons purchasing any thing of her, or crediting her on my account, for I will not pay any debt of her contracting or suffer any [bargin?] of hers to stand. Israel Hill, Oakham, April 23, 1777"
• Military: 15 May 1777, Oakham, Worcester County, Massachusetts; Enlisted May 15, 1777, in Capt. Reed's Co., Col. Alden's Regt., for a term of three years in the Continental Army. He was killed August 25, 1777, while on the expedition for the relief of Fort Schuyler.
