A contract for the marriage of Jacques and Louise Chiasson was signed on 10 August 1666 in Québec City, Comté de Québec, Québec, Canada, which neither of them could sign. He was confirmed on 14 February 1669 in Ste-Famille, Île d'Orléans, Québec, Canada. He and Louise Chiasson were legally separated on 19 September 1692 in Québec City, Comté de Québec, Québec, Canada, having sold all their goods and dividing the 5,560 livres equally between each other.
