- Married: 1659; Rev. Joseph Rowlandson, the son of Thomas and Bridget (Bradstreet) Rowlandson. He was born about 1631 in England. He graduated in 1652 from in Harvard College, Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, the only graduate that year. He died on Wednesday 23 November 1678 in Wethersfield, Hartford County, Connecticut. Issue: 1. Mary Rawlandson (1658-1660) 2. Joseph Rawlandson (1662-____) 3. Mary Rawlandson (1665-____) 5. Sarah Rawlandson (1669-1676) Killed by Indians
- History: 1676; Mary was captured by Indians, with the rest of her family, except for Joseph, who was in Boston. She was later released and wrote a book about her captivity.
