He was in Haverhill in 1648, when he bought a house and land in Salisbury from Samuel Dudley. He died on Sunday 12 April 1648 in Salisbury, Massachusetts. George and Martha had no children.
    • Married: 30 Oct 1684, Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts; (2) Major Robert Pike, the son of John Pike. He was born about 1615/16 in England. On 3 April 1641 Robert, married (1) Susan Sanders, in Salisbury, Massachusetts. He was in Newbury from 1635 to February 1637/38. Robert was made a freeman 17 May 1637. He received land in the first division of Salisbury in 1640 and 1641. Robert visited old England in 1650 or 1651. He was listed as a commoner in 1650 but paid the largest tax in Salisbury in 1652. He signed the petition of 1658. Both he and Martha were first on a list of members of the First Church of Salisbury in 1687. He was embroiled in controversy much of his life. He fought for the right of petition and was both excommunicated and disenfranchised during his life. In 1692, he spoke out against the witchcraft delusion. He died on Sunday 12 December 1706 in Salisbury, Massachusetts. Issue: 1. Robert Pike (1687-____) 2. Sarah Pike (1689-____)
