According to Farwell (1904), "Mr. Ward was a man of influence in the community, being often chosen as a member of committees when matters of local importance were to be considered. He was selectman in Hampton eight years." He left a will on 18 June 1678 in Hampton, New Hampshire. Thomas' estate was inventoried on 27 July 1680 in Hampton, New Hampshire. Issue: 1.
