After Hannah's death, on 16 December 1668 John, married (2) Elizabeth Adams, at age 19, daughter of Lt. Henry and Elizabeth (Paine) Adams, in Medfield, Massachusetts. On 27 March 1670 in Medfield, Massachusetts, Deacon John was mentioned in the will of John Frairy Jr. He became a freeman on 6 May 1684 in Medfield, Massachusetts. He served in 1689 as the Representative to the Massachusetts General Court for Medfield. He served again in 1692 and 1695. He left a will on 12 March 1719 in Medfield, Massachusetts. He died on Saturday 4 March 1719/20 in Medfield, Massachusetts. John's estate was inventoried on 13 May 1720 in Medfield, Massachusetts and appraised at £391 11/8. Issue: 1.
