• History: 1676; After the destruction of Lancaster in 1676, he went with his mother to Concord, and later to Dedham. Finally he returned to the reconstructed Lancaster.
• Military: say 1680; Abraham was a member of the Western Regiment of Middlesex County, his name appearing on the rolls as late as 18 March 1691/92.
• Married: 1682 to 1683; Tabitha ______. She was captured by Indians during the attack on Lancaster in November 1695. A Tabitha Wheeler married 5 April 1715 at Concord, Samuel Bennett. Issue: 1. Abigail Wheeler (1684-1711) 2. Jonathan Wheeler 3. Samuel Wheeler (____-1781) 4. daughter Wheeler

Died:
He was shot by an Indian on a Sunday morning while going between the fort and his house. Although mortally wounded, he succeeded in wresting the gun from the Indian and ran with it toward the fort until he was met by a party who went out to his rescue.
