He was christened on 3 November 1667 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He served between 1716 and 1724 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as a Selectman. He served again in 1726 to 1727, and 1730. He was chosen Deacon in 1724. He died on Monday 8 November 1734 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Issue: 1. Nathaniel Sparhawk (1697-1732) 2. Noah Sparhawk (1697-1749) 3. Simon Sparhawk (1704-____) 4. Abigail Sparhawk (1711-____)
- Married: 1735; (2) Capt. Joseph Mayo. He was from Roxbury. Joseph and Abigailfiled marriage intentions on 16 October 1735 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He died on Sunday 5 March 1747.
- Moved To: 1770, Brighton, Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts; After Joseph's death, Abigail returned to Brighton and lived with her son, Nathaniel. She lived to 104 years. Abigail was quite frail in her later years and she had to sit in a chair with a bar across the front to support her.
