Henry was one of the original settlers of Lancaster, Mass. His first lot of land was 20 acres and he drew three more acres in the second division. It turned out that the 20 acres given to Henry, should have gone to Ministerial Land. In 1656, his lot was taken from him and he was given another 20 acres. Henry became a freeman in 1668 in Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts. After Elizabeth's death, on 18 April 1677 Henry, married second, Elizabeth Ward, at age 34, daughter of Deacon William Ward and Elizabeth (unknown), in Charlestown, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.
