4. | Sir Baldwin Wake, Lord of Bourne (2.Hugh2, 1.Isabel1) was born about 1238 in Blisworth, Northamptonshire, England; died on 10 Feb 1281/82. Other Events and Attributes:

- Military: From 1264 to 1267; He opposed King Henry III in the Barons' War, hence was taken prisoner when the latter's forces recovered Northampton in 1264, following which he was held captive till released after the baronial victory over Henry of Lewes. In 1265 he was taken prisoner again by the future King Edward I at Kenilworth just before the royalist victory of Evesham. In May 1266 he regained his freedom once more but again defeated by royalist forces at Chesterfield , following which he made his peace with King Henry.
- Land/House: 1 May 1276; He paid the King homage for his lands on 1 May 1276.
- Military: 1277; In 1277 he campaigned in Wales.
