  1. 1.  Mary Perkins was born in 1615 in Hillmorton, Rugby, Warwickshire, England; died on 20 Dec 1700 in Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.

    • Married: 1636; Capt. Thomas Bradbury. He was christened in February 1610/11 in Wichen-Bonant, Essex, England. Thomas was an original proprietor of Salisbury, Mass. He may have been in Ipswich before then. He became a freeman 13 May 1640 and a Representative to the General Court in 1651. Thomas was a school teacher, town clerk and justice of the peace. He was the recorder for Norfolk County for six years. In 1634, he was in York, Maine. Thomas' will was dated 14 February 1694. He died on Tuesday 16 March 1694/95 in Salisbury, Massachusetts.     • History: 1692; Mary was accused of witchcraft in 1692. She was defended by Major Robert Pike. While she was convicted, she was not executed. It is obvious from the case papers that she was held in high esteem.
