He was a fuller. After Mary's death, about 1694 John, married (2) Sarah Haven, daughter of Richard and Susannah (Newhall) Haven. He served between 1714 and 1716 in Framingham, Massachusetts, as a Selectman. He was appointed in 1718 as a Constable. After the death of Sarah, on 10 November 1718 John, at age 56, married (3) Martha Howe, at age 49, daughter of Samuel and Martha (Bent) Howe, in Framingham, Massachusetts. He was chosen in 1719 in Framingham, Massachusetts as a Tythingman. He held this office again in 1724. He was admitted to the Framingham Church on 26 April 1719. He died in 1735 in Framingham, Massachusetts. John's estate was inventoried on 22 May 1735 in Framingham, Massachusetts, valued at £619 14/7. Issue: 1. Mary Whitney (1689-1753) 2.
