He joined the Baptist church in 1664. In 1669, he was connected with the Baptists. According to the Selectman's records, on 12 February 1671, he was a tenant on the Winthrop farm in Charlestown. After Sarah's death, on 5 March 1678 Nathaniel, at age 37, married (2) Sarah Parker,, daughter of Jacob Parker, in Charlestown, Massachusetts. Their marriage date was recorded as 1 (5) 1678. He moved about 1679 to Chelmsford, Massachusetts. He left a will on 7 November 1709 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Nathaniel's will was proved on 1 February 1710 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.
