    Text MRS. RICHARD C. WELTY
    GREESBURG, Feb. 19 - Mrs. Richard C. Welty, wife of Richard C. Welty, a retired Pennsylvania Railroad conductor, died at her home, 211 East Otterman street, yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Welty was born in Hempfield township, July 6, 1864, and had been a resident of Greesburg the greater part of her life. She and Mr. Welty were married November 28, 1883. In addition to her husband she is survived by the following children; Major Maurice D. Welty, United States Army, Washington D.C.; Mrs. E.L. Bortz, Philadelphia; Mrs. George K Henry, Mrs. F.B. Perry, Daniel E Welty, Jacob S. Welty, Mary A. Welty, Helen E. Welty and William R. Welty, all of Greensburgh. She also is survived by the following brothers and sisters; John Brindle of Connellsvile, Mrs. E.R. Goodin, Mrs. Margaret Smead, Mrss Alice Brindle and Mrs. Leola Van Horn all of Pittsburg, and Mrs. O.M. Wallace, Lemont. Nine grandchildren also survive.
    Mrs. Welty was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs Pilip and Sophia Brindle. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of this city. Funeral services will be held at her late home at 2:30 o?clock on Wednesday afternoon. Internment will be private in St. Clair cemetery.
