     Alice Bagley was born on 31 January 1876 at Woodstock, Vermont.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Cyrus Ransom Bagley and Jennie Olive Sleeper. Alice Bagleyappeared on the census of 1880 of 1880 in the household of her parents Cyrus Ransom and Jennie Olive Bagley.4

Alice Bagley, age 18, married Charles E. Whelpley, age 21 , son of Captain David C. Whelpley and Harriet Jane Pangbourne, on 22 May 1894 at the Montpelier, Vermont.

Alice, age 23 years, and Charles, age 27 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 at 664 Water Street, Fitchburg, Worcester County, Massachusetts.1 Alice, age 33 years, and Charles Whelpley, age 37 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 at Marinette, Marinette County, Wisconsin.7 Alice, age 43 years, and Charles, age 47 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 at 604 Ferdinand Avenue, Forest Park, Cook County, Illinois.1 Alice, age 53 years, and Charles, age 57 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 at 604 Ferdinand Street, Proviso Township, Cook County, Illinois.8 Alice, age 63 years, appeared on the US Census of 1940 at 508 Circle Avenue, Forest Park, Cook County, Illinois, She was a lodger with the Zienesen family, and a widow.9 She died on 14 March 1949 at Cook County, Illinois, at age 73.3,10 Alice was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Forest Park, Cook County, Illinois.3
