Julia Barnaby

     Julia Barnaby was born on 18 April 1858 at Altona, Clinton County, New York.^2,1 She was the daughter of Peter Martin Barnaby and Julia Lamountain.¹ Julia, age 2, appeared on the US Census of 1860 living at Altona, Clinton County, New York,in the household of her parents, Peter Martin and Julia Barnaby.³

Julia Barnaby married Nelson Burnett, son of François Bonin and Zoe Babin dite LaCroix, in 1873.



Her married name was Burnett. Julia, age 33 years, and Nelson, age 38 years , appeared on the New York State Census of 1892 at Altona, Clinton County, New York.⁴ Julia, age 41 years, and Nelson Burnett, age 46 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 at Altona, Clinton County, New York.² Julia, age 51 years, and Nelson Burnett, age 56 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 at Altona, Clinton County, New York.⁵ Julia, age 56 years, and Nelson, age 61 years , appeared on the New York State Census of 1915 at Altona, Clinton County, New York.⁶ Julia, age 61 years, and Nelson, age 66 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 on Main Street, Altona, Clinton County, New York.⁷ Julia, age 66 years, and Nelson, age 71 years , appeared on the New York State Census of 1925 at Altona, Clinton County, New York.⁸ Julia, age 71 years, and Nelson Burnett, age 76 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 at Altona, Clinton County, New York.⁹ Julia, age 81 years, and Nelson Burnett, age 86 years, appeared on the US Census of 1940 at Altona, Clinton County, New York.¹⁰ Julia Barnaby died on 9 July 1941 at Altona, Clinton County, New York, at age 83.¹¹
