     Eugene W. Burnett was born in February 1859 at Alburgh, Vermont.1 He was the son of François Bonin and Zoe Babin dite LaCroix. Eugene, age 2, appeared on the US Census of 1860 living at Alburgh, Vermont,in the household of his parents, Franklin and Zoe Burnett.2 Eugene, age 13, appeared on the US Census of 1870 living at Altona, Clinton County, New York,in the household of his parents, Frank and Zoe Burnett.3 Eugene, age 22, appeared on the US Census of 1880 living at Altona, Clinton County, New York,in the household of his parents, Frank and Zoe Burnett.4 According to the Federal Census in 1880, Eugene was a laborer.4

Eugene W. Burnett married Celia C. Beaudoin, daughter of Toussaint Beaudoin and Anna Rivard, in 1883.

Eugene, age 40 years, and Celia Burnett, age 34 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 at Westminster, Vermont.1 According to the Federal Census in 1900, Eugene was a paper maker.1 Eugene, age 50 years, and Celia, age 44 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 on 160 Worcester Street, Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts.6 According to the Federal Census in 1910, Eugene was a buff maker in a fibroid shop.6 Eugene, age 60 years, and Celia, age 54 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 on Second Avenue, Pasadena, Los Angeles County, California.7 According to the Federal Census in 1920, Eugene was a farmer.7 Eugene, age 70 years, and Celia Burnett, age 64 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 at 210 E07th Street, San Jacinto, Riverside County, California, with their son, George.8 He died on 9 April 1938 at San Jacinto, Riverside County, California, at age 79.9,10 Eugene was buried on 11 April 1938 at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery, San Jacinto, Riverside County, California, in plot J-35.10
