Claude Boudrot was born circa 1703 at Beaubassin, Acadia, New France.1,2,3,4,5 He was the son of Michel Boudrot and Marie-Magdeleine Cormier. Claude was recorded in 1714 at Beaubassin, Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America. He was an orphan living with the family of Pierre and Claire (Cormier) Cyr.4,5
Claude Boudrot married Marie-Judith Bélieveau, daughter of Jean-Antoine Bélieveau and Cécile Melanson, circa 1724 at the Beaubassin, Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.
In 1727 Claude lived at Port-Toulouse, Île Royale (now Cape Breton), Acadia, New France.4 Between 1731 and 1745 Claude lived at Havre-Tracadie, Île Saint-Jean (now Prince Edward's Island), New France.4 He was a fisherman and a laborer who had his own boat.5 Claude, age 50, appeared on the Census of 1752 conducted by the Sieur de la Roque.5 Claude was recorded in 1763 living at Fort Beauséjour, Colony of Nova Scotia (New Brunswick), British North America.5 He died before 15 October 1765.5
