     Irene Frances Burnett was born on 22 April 1937 at Northampton, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Murvil Francis Burnett and Irene Francelia Eddy. Irene Frances Burnettappeared on the US Census of 1940 in the household of Murvil Francis Burnett and Irene Francelia Eddy at 5 Market Street, Northampton, Massachusetts.¹ Irene, age 12, appeared on the US Census of 1950 living at Apartment 164, 73 East Main Street, Orange, Massachusetts,in the household of her parents, Murvil Francis and Irene Francelia Burnett.² As of 27 August 1955,her married name was Gernon.
