     Celetje Jans Damen was christened circa 1685 at New Utrecht (now Brooklyn), New York.2 She was the daughter of Jan Corneliszen Damen and Sophia Martense.2 Celetje Jans Damen was also known as Celia Damen.2

Celetje Jans Damen married Captain François LeRoy dit Audy, son of Siméon LeRoy dit Audy and Claude Des Chalets, in 1705 at Dutchess County, New York.

Celetje and Françoismoved to Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York, in 1709 after buying a plot of land from Myndert Harnenszen.2 Celetje and Captain François LeRoy dit Audy were known to be living in 1710 at Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York.1 Both Franéois and Celetje were early members of the Dutch Church in Poughkeepsie.2 Celetje Jans Damen died in 1784 at Dutchess County, New York.2
