Clara Elizabeth (Kramer) Quinn
     Clara Elizabeth Kramer was born on 20 August 1875 at Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Andrew Kramer and Margaret Baker. Clara, age 6, appeared on the US Census of 1880 living at 899 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Andrew and Gabriel Kramer.2 Clara, age 24 years, and James Quinn, age 24 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 at R1 Washington Avenue, Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Clara Elizabeth Kramer and Congressman James Leland Quinn obtained a marriage license on 23 May 1900 at Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.3,4 As of 24 May 1900,her married name was Quinn.3

Clara Elizabeth Kramer, age 24, married Congressman James Leland Quinn, age 24 , son of Mark Quinn and Margaret Gorham, on 24 May 1900 at St. Brrendan's Church, Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

Clara and James's wedding announcement of 24 May 1900, reads:

The marriage of Mr. James L. Quinn and Miss Clara Kramer, of Braddock, was solemnized this morning at 7 o'clock in St. Brendan's church, Braddock, by Rev. Father P. Molyneaux. Only the immediate relatives were present at the nuptials. Mr. Mercer Quinn, of Duquesne, a brother of the groom, was best man, and Miss Annie Kramer, a sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. A bridal tour will be dispensed with till later in the summer, and Mr. and Mrs. Quinn will go to housekeeping immediately.

Clara, age 34 years, and James, age 34 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 on 212 Eight Street, Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.7 Clara, age 44 years, and James, age 44 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 on 17 Moody Street, Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.8 Clara, age 54 years, and James, age 54 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 on 412/414 John Street, Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.9 Clara, age 64 years, and James Quinn, age 64 years, appeared on the US Census of 1940 at 412 John Street, Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.10 Clara, age 74 years, and James Quinn, age 74 years, appeared on the US Census of 1950 at 412 John Street, Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.11 Clara Elizabeth Kramer died on 22 August 1960 at Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, at age 85.12 Clara was buried at All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Braddock, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, in St. Joseph, sections A, B, C, and D.12
