Benjamin Lowell was born on 12 September 1642 at Newbury, Province of Massachusetts Bay.1,2 He was the son of John Lowell and Elizabeth Goodale. Benjamin's name was also spelt Benjamin Lowle. (an unknown value.)3
Benjamin Lowell, age 24, married Ruth Woodman, age 20 , daughter of Lt. Edward Woodman and Joanna Salway, on 17 October 1666 at Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.
Benjamin was mentioned in the will of his father, John Lowell on 17 October 1666 at Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.1,11 Benjamin took the Oath of Fidelity in 1669.1 He was admitted as a freeman on 19 May 1669 at Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.2 Benjamin and Ruth joined the Church at Newbury in 1674.1 Benjamin was a blacksmith according to a deed in 1697.2 He died on 22 October 1714 at Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, at age 72.2
