Rena Belva Hagerdon

     Rena Belva Hagerdon was born on 13 January 1916 at Dayton, Cattaraugus County, New York.^2,3,4,5 She was the daughter of Frederick Joseph Hagerdon and Lois C. Warner.¹ Rena, age 4, appeared on the US Census of 1920 living at Fiar-Plains Markham Rd, Dayton, Cattaraugus County, New York,in the household of her parents, Frederick Joseph and Lois C. Hagerdon.⁶ Rena, age 9, appeared on the US Census of 1925 living at Dayton, Cattaraugus County, New York,in the household of her parents, Frederick Joseph and Lois C. Hagerdon.⁷ Rena, age 14, appeared on the US Census of 1930 living at 76 Buffalo Jamestown Road, Dayton, Cattaraugus County, New York,in the household of her parents, Frederick Joseph and Lois C. Hagerdon.⁸ Rena, age 23 years, appeared on the US Census of 1940 on East Main Street, Westfield, Chautauqua County, New York, boarding with the Berger family. She was single and a practical nurse.⁹ As of 1941,her married name was Burnett.

Rena Belva Hagerdon married Norman William Burnett, son of Francis William Burnett and Vera May Lord, in 1941.



Rena, age 33 years, and Norman, age 46 years, appeared on the US Census of 1950 on 1950 US Census, he was recorded as age 46, living at, Dayton, Cattaraugus County, New York.¹⁰ Rena and Norman were divorced before 1956.

Rena married second on 7 March 1959 at Perrysburg, Cattaraugus County, New York, William W. Traber. He was born in 1919 and died in 1970.^3,11 She died on 22 April 1988 at Jamestown, Cattaraugus County, New York, at age 72.^2,3,4 Rena was buried at Markhams German Lutheran Cemetery, Markhams, Cattaraugus County, New York.³
