Henry, age 2, appeared on the US Census of 1880 living at Swanton, Vermont,in the household of his parents, Frank William and Calista Ann Burnett.8 He served during the Spanish-American War.9,10,6 Henry, age 22, appeared on the US Census of 1900 living at 16 Westminster Street, Rockingham, Vermont,in the household of his parents, Frank William and Calista Ann Burnett.1 According to the Federal Census in 1900, Henry was a day laborer.1

Henry James Burnett, age 22, married Myrtie Almira Sanborn, age 19 , daughter of Millard Filmore Sanborn and Martha Almira Huntoon, on 18 October 1900 at the Bellows Falls, Vermont.

Henry, age 31 years, and Myrtie, age 28 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 on 6 Brown Street, Rockingham, Vermont.13 According to the Federal Census in 1910, Henry was a machine tender in a paper mill.13 On 12 September 1918, Henry registered for the World War I draft, while living at Bellows Falls, Vermont, giving his age as 40 and his employer as the Robertson Paper Company.4 Henry, age 41 years, and Myrtie, age 38 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 on 26 Russel Street, Rockingham, Vermont.14 According to the Federal Census in 1920, Henry worked in a paper mill.14 Henry, age 51 years, and Myrtie, age 48 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 on 212 North Main Street, Newport, Sullivan County, New Hampshire. According to the Federal Census in 1930, Henry was a fireman in a woolen mill. He was also listed as a veteran of the Spanish-American War.9 Henry, age 61 years, and Myrtie, age 58 years, appeared on the US Census of 1940 on 23 Court Street, Newport, New Hampshire.15 According to the Federal Census in 1940, Henry was a janitor.15 On in 1942, Henry registered for the World War II draft, while living at 23 Court Street, Newport, New Hampshire, giving his age as 63 and his employer as the US Post Office.7 He and an unknown person filed marriage intentions on 18 September 1946 at Lisbon, New Hampshire.16,17

Henry James Burnett, age 68, married Ida May Follansbee, age 65 , daughter of Orrin Follansbee and Mary Jackson, on 18 September 1946 at Lisbon, New Hampshire.17,18,16 Henry, age 71 years, and Ida, age 69 years, appeared on the US Census of 1950 on 23 Court Street, Newport, New Hampshire.19 Henry died on 2 July 1952 at home on 23 Court Street, Newport, New Hampshire, at age 74 from a coronary occlusion due to arteriosclerosis and hypertension.10,3,6 Henry was buried on 5 July 1952 at Pine Grove Cemetery, Newport, New Hampshire.10,3
