Thomas Florence Sullivan II was born on 15 July 1916 at St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.1,2,3,4 He was the son of Captain Thomas Florence Sullivan and Honora Agnes Kavanaugh. Thomas was found on a passenger list arriving in Boston, Massachusetts, on 14 September 1922 on board the S.S. Sachem which had sailed from St. John's, Newfoundland the 9th of September 1922.1 Thomas, age 13, appeared on the US Census of 1930 living at 7116 Pennsylvania Avenue, Upper Darby Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Thomas Florence and Agnes Sullivan.5
Thomas Florence Sullivan II, age 22, married Rita Mary Jennings, age 21 , daughter of Paul Bernard Jennings and Anna Elizabeth McFarland, on 14 June 1939 at the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Thomas Sullivan, 23 years, appeared as Head of Household with Rita, his wife, on the United States Census of 1940 at 317 Ivy Rock Lane, Haverford, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.8 According to the Federal Census in 1940, Thomas was a stevedore and he was a naturalized citizen.8 On on 16 October 1940, Thomas registered for the World War II draft, while living at 317 Ivy Rock Lane, Manoa, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He gave his age as 24 and his employer as his father.3 According to the Federal Census in 1950, Thomas was a stevedore foreman.6 Thomas Sullivan, 33 years, appeared as Head of Household with Rita, his wife, on the United States Census of 1950 at 317 Ivy Rock Lane, Haverford, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.6 Thomas Florence Sullivan II died on 31 March 2000 at Boynton Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, at age 83.2,4
