Daniel David Hutson was born on 31 March 1917 at Bluffton, Beaufort County, South Carolina.2,3,4,5,6,7,8
He was the son of John Richard Hutson and Elizabeth Beverly.1 Daniel, age 3, appeared on the US Census of 1920 living at Bluffton, Beaufort County, South Carolina,in the household of his parents, John Richard and Elizabeth Hutson.9 Daniel, age 15, appeared on the US Census of 1930 living at Bluffton, Beaufort County, South Carolina,in the household of his parents, John Richard and Elizabeth Hutson.10
Daniel David Hutson, age 21, married Dorothy Irene Burnett, age 17 , daughter of Murvil Francis Burnett and Irene Francelia Eddy, on 15 July 1938 at the Aiken, Aiken County, South Carolina.
Daniel, age 21, appeared on the US Census of 1940 living at Fording Island Road, Bluffton, Beaufort County, South Carolina,in the household of his widowed father, John Richard Hutson along with his wife, Dorothy.12 On on 16 October 1940, Daniel registered for the World War II draft, while living at 154 East Broad Street, Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia, giving his age and his employer as the Lane Lantic Company.6
Daniel, age 32 years, and Dorothy, age 28 years, appeared on the US Census of 1950 on 15 Maple Street, Manchester, Connecticut.13 Daniel David Hutson died on 18 November 1996 at Manchester, Connecticut, at age 79.3,14,4,5,8,15 Daniel's obituary of 20 November 1996, reads:

HUTSON. Daniel D. Hutson Sr., 80, of Prospect Street, Rockville, passed away Monday (Nov. 18, 1996) at Manchester Memorial Hospital after a long Illness. He was born March 31, 1916 in Bluffton, SC to James R.Hutson and Elizabeth (Beverly) Hutson. He had lived in Connecticut since 1939 and retired from the Klock Co., Manchester in Dec., 1980. He was the beloved husband for 58 years to Dorothy (Burnett) Hutson. He leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Rita M. Hutson Drake and Wesley Drake Jr. of Lakeland, FL; and two sons and a daughter-in-law, Daniel D. Hutson Jr. and Kathleen of Andover, and Clifford G. Hutson Sr. of Rockville; and also a sister, Mozell Hutson Beach of Bluffton, SC; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many beloved friends. He was predeceased by a grandson, Douglas Brian Hutson. There will be no calling hours. A Memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Birth: His birth certificate gives his birth as the 29th of March. All records recording his birth date later give 31 March. It is clear he thought his birthday was the 31st. The birth certificate may be an error.
