     Vera Mae Burnett was born on 26 January 1935 at Northampton, Massachusetts.1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of Murvil Francis Burnett and Irene Francelia Eddy. Vera, age 5, appeared on the US Census of 1940 living at 5 Market Street, Northampton, Massachusetts,in the household of her parents, Murvil Francis and Irene Francelia Burnett.5 Vera, age 15, appeared on the US Census of 1950 living at Apartment 164, 73 East Main Street, Orange, Massachusetts,in the household of her parents, Murvil Francis and Irene Francelia Burnett.6 As of 6 September 1951,her married name was Starkey.

Vera Mae Burnett, age 16, married Dean R. Starkey, age 18 , son of Eugene F. Starkey and Muriel Louise Maclean, on 6 September 1951.1,7 When her father died, in December 1963, Vera lived at California.8 Vera was known to be living in 1981 at Granby, Connecticut.4
