Sexton.¹ Andrew, age 9, appeared on the US Census of 1900 living at Deerpark, Orange County, New York,in the household of his parents, George William and Margaret E. Travis.² Andrew, age 19, appeared on the US Census of 1910 living at Canal Street, Middletown, Orange County, New York,in the household of his parents, George William and Margaret E. Travis.⁸

Andrew Alphonse Travis, age 18, married Alma Agnes Peterson, age 20 , daughter of John Peterson and Anna ______, on 31 October 1910 at Middletown, Orange County, New York.^1,9 Andrew Alphonse Travis and Alma Agnes Peterson appeared on the census of 1915 at Middletown, Orange County, New York.¹⁰ On 5 June 1917, Andrew registered for the World War I draft, while living at 482 Sayre Avenue, Perth Amboy, Middlesex County, New Jersey, giving his age as 25.³ During World War I, he served as a Sargent in Company D, 311th Infantry Regiment, 78th Division. He enlisted on 21 September 1917 and was discharged on 30 May 1919.^4,6 According to the Federal Census in 1920, Andrew was an oilder for a chemical company.¹¹ Andrew, age 28 years, and Alma, age 29 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 on Laurie Street, Perth Amboy, Middlesex County, New Jersey.¹¹ Andrew and Alma were divorced between 1920 and 1930.

Andrew, age 38 years, and Mary, age 32 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 on 63 Wisner Avenue, Middletown, Orange County, New York.¹² In 1930 Andrew and Mary lived at 63 Wisner Avenue, Middletown, Orange County, New York, according to the 1930 Middletown, New York City Directory.¹³ According to the Federal Census in 1930, Andrew was a trainman on a Steam Railroad.¹² Andrew, age 48 years, and Mary, age 42 years, appeared on the US Census of 1940 on N Russell Street, Boston, Massachusetts.¹⁴ According to the Federal Census in 1940, Andrew was a janitor.¹⁴ On in 1942, Andrew registered for the World War II draft, while living at Boston, Massachusetts, giving his age as 50 and his employer as the Hunt Spillier Company.⁵ When his mother died, in March 1952, Andrew lived at Boston, Massachusetts.¹⁵ He died on 1 October 1955 at Boston, Massachusetts, at age 63.^6,4,16 Andrew was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Mattapan, Boston, Massachusetts.^4,16
