Ida May Follansbee

     Ida May Follansbee was born on 18 October 1880 at Cavendish, Windsor County, Vermont.^1,2,3,4,5 She was the daughter of Orrin Follansbee and Mary Jackson. Ida, age 19, appeared on the US Census of 1900 living at Cavendish, Windsor County, Vermont,in the household of her parents, Orrin and Mary Follansbee. She was working as a weaver in a woolen mill.²

Ida married first in 1901, John R Logan. He was born in 1874 . He died in 1929.^6,7

He was born about 1875 in Vermont.^6,7 Ida, age 29 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 on South Main Street, Rutland, Vermont, with her second husband.⁸ Ida, age 39 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 on Terrill Street, Rutland, Rutland County, Vermont, with her second husband.⁹ Ida, age 49 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 on 41 Middle Street, Newport, Sullivan County, New Hampshire, with her second husband.¹⁰ As of 18 September 1946,her married name was Burnett.¹

Ida May Follansbee, age 65, married Henry James Burnett, age 68 , son of Frank William Burnett and Calista Ann Prentiss, on 18 September 1946 at Lisbon, New Hampshire.^1,6,11 Ida, age 69 years, and Henry, age 71 years, appeared on the US Census of 1950 on 23 Court Street, Newport, New Hampshire.¹² Ida May Follansbee died on 3 March 1952 at Carrie F. Wright Hospital, Newport, New Hampshire, at age 71 from lobar pneumonia caused by the flu.^4,5 Ida was buried on 6 March 1952 at Pine Grove Cemetery, Newport, New Hampshire.^4,5
